ATA Offers Certified Director of Safety Program

Start earning your Certified Director of Safety (CDS) distinction through the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI) at a one-week course September 24-28, 2018 at the Alabama Trucking Association headquarters in Montgomery. NATMI's curriculum provides current and prospective fleet safety directors with the vision and skills needed to manage and execute an effective fleet safety program.
During the course, participants play the role of a newly-hired safety director at a company that is in need of a complete safety overhaul. Through case-based scenarios, learn how to sell your recommendations to top management, foster a safety culture within the organization, demonstrate safety's ROI, and consistently improve the safety of company operations using quality management approaches and proven techniques.
Applicants are required to submit an exhibit binder of their work within 60 days of classroom training and exam to complete their CDS.
