Joan Bean joined the ATA Comp Fund team in April 2025. Prior to coming on board, she was the Personal Lines Manager-Private Client Advisor for an independent insurance agency in Montgomery, AL. She has been in the insurance industry since 2019 and, prior to that, has over twenty years of management/auditing/business development experience.
Joan holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Service Representative Elite (CISR Elite) designations from National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, along with my Property and Casualty Insurance and Life & Health Insurance licenses. She is currently working towards earning her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Joan and her husband currently reside outside of Elmore, Alabama, where they relocated in 2019 from Southeast Iowa. In her spare time, she likes to travel, camp, and spend time with her family.
