Jacob joined the ATA Comp Fund team in August 2026 as an Underwriter. In this role, he evaluates new business and renewal submissions, and partners with agents and brokers to structure accounts that serve both the member companies and the fund.
Prior to joining the ATA Comp Fund team, Jacob spent over three years with Berkley Industrial Comp, underwriting monoline workers' compensation business in all 50 states. His work there centered on high-hazard and specialty risk across construction, manufacturing, mining, industrial services, logistics, and telecommunications. Jacob is a graduate of Samford University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Jacob now resides in Birmingham. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, backpacking, hiking, traveling to new places, and taking his dog, Mob, on long walks.
