ATA Comp Fund Welcomes Suzy Baker as Claim Manager

The ATA Comp Fund is pleased to announce the hiring of Suzy Baker as Claim Manager effective October 7, 2019.
Ms. Baker comes to the ATA Comp Fund from Vulcan Materials in Birmingham, Alabama, where she served as Claims Supervisor in their Corporate Risk division. Todd Hager, ATA Comp Fund COO, states, “Suzy is an exceptional addition to the Fund staff due to her extensive knowledge and background of managing workers’ compensation claims in Alabama as well as other states.” As Claim Manager, Suzy will be working with the Fund’s dedicated, third-party claim units in managing the claims for our Alabama and multi-state Cross Border programs.
Suzy has over 11 years of workers’ compensation claims experience with Vulcan Materials Company and HealthSouth Corporation. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management from Georgia State and holds the Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional certification from Michigan State University.
